This surfactant electrode has to be used in combination with a reference electrode.
This durable surfactant electrode can be used for the determination of anionic and cationic surfactants and is easy to clean. The electrode is suitable, e.g., for:
- titrations of surfactants in non-aqueous matrices (incl. chloroform)
- two-phase titrations (pH < 10)
- difficult samples, such as cooling lubricants, drilling and cutting oils, or oil-containing shower baths
