Dedicated systems to suit your needs
We offer three distinct versions of i-Raman spectrometers. The i-Raman Plus instruments are entry-level systems that are suitable for general applications, such as academic teaching and research, and quality control for the chemical, pharmaceutical, and food industry.
The i-Raman Pro instruments feature a higher sensitivity and are therefore used for low Raman signal samples on a professional level for materials science, forensics, and more.
The i-Raman Prime instruments are our research-grade level spectrometers that come with the highest sensitivity and a high-throughput spectrometer. This spectrometer allows for faster measurements as needed for monitoring dynamic processes. The i-Raman Prime are thus suitable for biological systems, natural products, protein, and diagnostic screening.
Versatility and ease-of-use
Our comprehensive package of sampling accessories, including a video microscope and lenses for stand-off measurements, provide the utmost utility for Raman analysis of samples large and small, solid, liquid, or slurry.
For instance, a fiber-optic probe can be used for flexible sampling of a range of sample sizes and forms in the laboratory, in a vessel, and in difficult to reach positions. A large spot adaptor is ideal for representative sampling of heterogeneous samples, and for lower power density at the sample for measuring fragile and thermally labile samples.
Nonetheless, using the i-Raman instruments is easy. Connect the fiber-optic sampling probe to a computer via USB and be ready to start your Raman measurements out-of-the-box.

Raman spectra are information rich and can be used for structural elucidation from the band assignments, material identification by matching the spectral fingerprint, and for quantitative analysis.
Software for data acquisition and analysis include the standard BWSpec, and more advanced options with Vision® spectroscopic software, our proprietary BWIQ® multivariate analysis software, and BWID® identification software.

Comprehensive sampling options
The i-Raman instruments can be used with a wide selection of sampling accessories to expand your analysis to specific sample types. These include our Raman microscope for microsampling, which can be coupled to a tripod increasing the overall system portability to make measurements even in hard-to-reach places.
In addition, the sensitivity and compact size of the i-Raman instruments make it easy to use in development of trace analysis by surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS). Using our surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) substrates, signal enhancement of up to 106 can be achieved, allowing for trace level detection.
