Extend your Raman capabilities with the i-Raman Duo
The i-Raman Duo system has two lasers that cover a broad spectral range using a single spectrometer and sampling probe. The fingerprint region is measured with a 1064 nm laser to gather precise chemical information and reduce fluorescence interference. An 860 nm laser extends the stretch region (2500 – 4600 cm-1) to provide moisture content and identify unique Raman signals.
The stretch region provides additional information beyond the fingerprint region for enhanced discrimination and more robust method development. Features in this region are useful for applications such as biomedical diagnostics, petrochemicals and biofuels, and agriculture.

Additionally, the compact design and high sensitivity of the i-Raman series make it perfect for developing trace-level detection methods with surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS). When used with Metrohm’s SERS materials, users can achieve signal enhancements of up to 106 times, helping them confidently identify analytes even at very low concentrations.
