Determination of the oxidation stability of fatty acid methyl esters (FAME) with the Rancimat method in accordance with EN 15751. Fatty acid methyl esters are produced by the transesterification of the glycerides present in vegetable oils (e.g. rapeseed oil). Antioxidants (e.g., ascorbyl palmitate) inhibit the autoxidation of FAME.
