2060 MARGA (Monitor for AeRosols and Gases in Ambient air) is a dedicated solution for online monitoring of ambient air.

2060 MARGA collects the ionic load (anions and cations) from the aerosol and the gas fraction of a defined volume of ambient air, brings it into solution, and injects it into a dual channel ion chromatograph for subsequent analysis.

Inline Sample Preparation for aerosols

Metrohm AeRosol Sampler «MARS» is a sample preparation module that samples aerosol particles from an air stream and brings them into the aqueous phase.

Subsequently, the water-soluble ionic fraction (anions and cations) can be interfaced with any Metrohm ion chromatograph for multi-parameter analysis of aerosols.

The 930 Combustion IC PP (AJ) enables the analysis of halogens and sulfur in flammable samples of all types using inline combustion digestion (pyrohydrolysis) with subsequent ion chromatography determination (Combustion IC). It comprises all required components, e.g., the Combustion Module from Analytik Jena (2.136.0700), the 920 Absorber Module, the 930 Compact IC Flex Oven/SeS/PP/Deg, and the MagIC Net software. If necessary, the 930 Metrohm Combustion IC package can be supplemented with an Autosampler for solid or liquid samples (MMS 5000 Autosampler). The entire analysis, including sample input and sample digestion, is completely automated and is completely controlled by MagIC Net.

The Combustion Oven (TEI) is the central unit for pyrohydrolytic combustion of samples as preparation for subsequent analysis with ion chromatography.

Liquid Autosampler CIC (TEI), 30 positions - 2.0136.0610

The Liquid Autosampler CIC (TEI) is used for automated analysis of liquid samples using Combustion IC. It can be used in combination with the Boat Introduction Modules (6.07311.010 or 6.07311.020) and the Liquid Introduction Module (6.07311.040).

Solid Autosampler CIC (TEI) - 2.0136.0620

The Solid Autosampler CIC (TEI) is used for automated analysis of solid samples using Combustion IC. It can be used in combination with the Boat Introduction Modules (6.07311.010 or 6.07311.020). The sample rack for solids no. 1 (6.07312.010) and a cover for the sample rack are already included.

GLS Sampler CIC (TEI) - 2.0136.0630

The GLS Sampler CIC (TEI) is used to analyze liquid gas or gases under increased pressure using Combustion IC. It can be used in combination with either the manual or the automated Liquid Introduction Module for the Combustion Oven (TEI).

Combustion Module (Oven + ABD, AJ) - 2.136.0700

The Combustion Module (Oven + ABD, AJ) enables sample digestion during pyrolysis and oxidation of all types of flammable samples. The Combustion Module consists of the combustion oven and the Auto Boat Driver (automatic sample introduction). Both are products made by Analytik Jena which have been optimized specially for coupling with ion chromatographs.

Auto Boat Drive (AJ) - 2.136.0710

The Auto Boat Drive (ABD) automatically guides the sample boats into the combustion oven. The sample can be put into the boat manually or using an appropriate sampler. This product made by Analytik Jena has been specially optimized for coupling with ion chromatographs.

LPG/GSS Module (AJ) - 2.136.0720

The LPG/GSS Module (AJ) is a sample injection system for either liquefied gases or gases under enhanced pressure. The module is controlled automatically and moves the respective amounts of gas to the combustion oven for combustion. The Analytik Jena product has been optimized specially for coupling with ion chromatographs.

Combustion Module (Oven + LPG/GSS, AJ) - 2.136.0730

The Combustion Module (Oven + LPG/GSS, AJ) enables sample digestion during the pyrolysis of liquefied gases and gases under pressure. The Combustion Module (Oven + LPG/GSS, AJ) is comprised of the combustion oven and the LPG/GSS module. Both are products of Analytik Jena which have been optimized specially for coupling with ion chromatographs.

LPG Module (AJ) - 2.136.0740

The LPG Module (AJ) is a sample injection system for liquefied gases. The module is controlled automatically and moves the respective quantities of gas to the combustion oven for combustion. This product from Analytik Jena has been specially optimized for coupling with ion chromatographs.

Combustion Oven (AJ) - 2.136.0750

The Combustion Oven (AJ) is part of the Metrohm Combustion IC system. It is part of the two Combustion Modules 2.136.0700 and 2.136.0730.

MMS 5000 Autosampler (AJ) - 2.136.0800

Autosampler MMS 5000 (AJ) made by Analytik Jena for use with the Metrohm Combustion IC for fully automatic analysis of liquid and solid samples. To adapt the modular Multi-Matrix sampler to the correct sample type, either the liquids kit (6.7303.000) of the solids kit (6.7302.000) must be used.

920 Absorber Module - 2.920.0010

The 920 Absorber Module combines the Combustion Module with the ion chromatograph. The 920 Absorber Module ensures that the gaseous compounds of the analytes are dissolved and channeled to the IC. It is responsible for the entire Liquid Handling. In addition to Combustion IC, it can also be used for gas analysis.

IC-MS and IC-ICP/MS coupling - IC-MS / IC-ICP/MS

The combination of IC with an electrospray ionization mass spectrometer (ESI-MS) or with an inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer (ICP-MS) solves even complex separation problems with maximum measurement sensitivity.
