Near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) offers users quick, reagent-free analysis, reducing time and expenses for dosage uniformity tests. This Application Note demonstrates the determination of active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) content in ceftazidime tablets with NIRS, showing that this method can also be used to assess excipient content.
