The retention times of lithium, sodium, ammonium, magnesium, and calcium remain practically constant with increasing column temperature, whereas those of potassium, strontium, and barium are considerably shortened. This means that the temperature can be used to reduce analysis time considerably on the Metrosep C 6 - 150/4.0.</p>
