Measuring Cell TSC 1600 Open

An open measuring cell intended for investigating liquid electrolytes.

This measuring cell has a 1.6 mL platinum crucible as sample container. For smaller sample volume, please use the TSC 70 Open cell.

This cell can be used to perform conductivity measurements on ionic liquids, determine the stability window of these electrolytes or determine the HOMO-LUMO gap of OLED dyes in organic solvents.

Since the cell is open to atmosphere, only non-volatile, non-air- or moisture-sensitive samples can be readily measured.
