Automatic determination of cadmium in aqueous solution with the Cu ISE
Summary
Cadmium is used for many industrial purposes including electroplating, battery production, in solar cells, and to make pigments. However, cadmium is quite toxic and is regulated in water. This Application Note describes the analysis of cadmium in aqueous solution using a copper ion-selective electrode with Cu-EDTA complex used as an indicator.
