Das Application Bulletin beschreibt eine einfache, polarographische Methode zur Bestimmung von monomerem Styrol in Polymeren. Die Bestimmungsgrenze liegt bei 5 mg/L. Styrol wird vor der Bestimmung mit Natriumnitrit in das elektrochemisch aktive Pseudonitrosit überführt.
