The ProTrode 200 sensor is a combined pH sensor with integrated Pt1000 designed to perform inline pH measurements biotechnology and pharmaceutical processes. This non-pressurized sensor has a measuring range from 0 – 12 pH and because of its unique sleeve diaphragm design, enables very accurate pH measurements with low response time’s independent of the process flow.The included Ag guard prevents silver fouling into the process and diaphragm blockage in processes containing sulfide or proteins.

This supports performance in media with high particle content, such as slurries. The ProTrode 400 uses high alkaline H glass for accurate measurements at higher pH values.

ProTrode pCO2 sensor

The ProTrode pCO₂ sensor is an inline dissolved CO₂ sensor that operates on the Severinghaus principle. This dissolved carbon dioxide sensor consists of a glass pH electrode in a membrane cap filled with bicarbonate electrolyte. Carbon dioxide diffuses through the gas-permeable membrane, altering the pH value.The membrane cap, made of titanium grade 2 (3.7025), resists corrosion. It can be replaced after 6–10 autoclaving cycles when response times are starting to increase.The ProTrode pCO₂ sensor delivers reliable measurements for pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturing processes.
