The 50 mL bottles are mad of polypropylene (PP) plastic and can be used for samples, standards, check standards and rinsing solutions. Production and packaging both take place under sterile and clean room conditions. This guarantees minimum contamination. The sample vessels are subjected to random checks for leachable anions and cations.

The screw cap with septum is perfectly suitable for maintaining samples and standards over an extended time period. Screw cap with septum for bottle, PP, 50 mL (6.02743.030); PE bottle, 125 ml (6.1627.000) and PE bottle, 50 ml (6.1608.100).In the case of the 858 Professional Sample Processor, the coated sample needle made of steel (6.2624.200) or the Pick-up needle (6.2624.100) must be mounted in order to penetrate the septum.

The screw cap without septum can be used in combination with the bottle PP, 50 mL (6.02743.030). The stopper with perforation (6.2743.070) can be slid into the hole and seals the bottle. This provides a perfect sealing option if the standard needle (6.2846.010) is used on the 858 Professional Sample Processor.
