Visão geral
Disposable screen-printed carbon electrodes modified with molybdenum disulfide. Suitable for catalytical and photocatalytical applications.
Photocurrents are obtained when irradiating with an UV LED light into de working electrode. Energy of beam light is employed in promoting an electron from the valence gap to the conduction band. While the electrode can be involved in reductions reaction, the positive hole left behind can be involved in oxidation reactions making these electrodes suitable to perform switchable redox reactions controlled by a source of UV light
