Dilution station kit

The dilution station is used for automatic dilution of samples. A defined amount of the concentrated sample is precisely measured by an OMNIS Dosing Drive Unit. The concentrated sample is conveyed to the dilution vessel with the required volume of the dilution solution. The built-in magnetic stirrer mixes the concentrated sample and the dilution solution evenly. The diluted sample is then transferred through the sample outlet into the sample path.

Metrohm recommends using the following stirring bar:

• Stirring bar / 8 x 3 mm (6.1903.000)

The dilution station is equipped with an overflow. The liquid in the overflow is collected in the drip collector, runs from there to the leak sensor, and is then fed into the drainage tubing system.

A maximum of 1 dilution station can be installed per sample changer. If contaminated, the dilution vessel can be cleaned or replaced.

Note: This upgrade must be installed by an authorized Metrohm service engineer.
