One system – many applications

The Professional VA cover the entire range of voltammetric and polarographic analysis. These systems can be used to analyze, amongst other:

  • Trace levels of, e.g., cadmium, lead, nickel, cobalt, or iron, in sea water, salts, and high-purity chemicals
  • Various transition metal ions in water samples
  • Additives and impurities in electroplating solutions
  • Copper and iron in boiler feed water
  • Ultra-trace levels of metal species in sea water
  • Organic additives in plating solutions with Cyclic Voltammetric Stripping (CVS)

The compact Professional VA allow you to save bench space in your laboratory. But what happens if you perform more than one application? No problem! Simply exchange the measuring head and continue with your analysis.

The Professional VA can be customized with automation and liquid handling modules to minimize the manual workload and increase accuracy and reproducibility of your results.

For instance, you can add Dosinos to take care of reagent and sample additions, pump stations for automatic rinsing, or a sample processor to perform fully automated, highly precise and reproducible analyses – completely unattended.

Full system control with viva

The Professional VA and all modules are controlled with the user-friendly and powerful viva software. With viva, you can adapt and edit methods to fully suit your applications.

In addition, the viva database stores all determinations with the associated data, e.g. curves and results. The data are displayed clearly in a practical list and the individual determinations can be accessed by simply clicking on an item in the list. Sort, search, and filter functions help finding the data you’re looking for quickly and easily. The recorded data can also be reprocessed, for instance to recalibrate retroactively with a newly measured standard solution.
