Skills required

• Experience with Windows Server, NAS, and backup management systems
• Proficient in Windchill PLM, Zuken/ECAD, and SVN/Git environments
• Strong knowledge of networking components including VPNs, firewalls, and Wi‑Fi access points
• Hands‑on support experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Dynamics 365
• Skilled in laptop/desktop imaging, deployment, and IT asset management
• Proficient with collaboration and productivity tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft, Teams, and Jira
• Excellent troubleshooting expertise for Windows 11 client systems
• Deep expertise in DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory, with practical experience resolving complex client issues
• Strong grasp of networking and security concepts, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, XDR, and Defence‑in‑depth principles
• Expertise in Hyper‑V and VMware virtualization technologies, including VM provisioning, maintenance, and performance optimization
• Experience handling and supporting Linux virtual machines, including basic administration, troubleshooting, and integration within mixed OS environments

Responsibilities

• Ensure 99.9% uptime for all servers and IT infrastructure through proactive monitoring, maintenance, and incident response.
• Oversee server installation, migration, virtualization, and backup operations,collaborating closely with Global IT on system rollouts, upgrades, and security enhancements.
• Administer and maintain Windchill PLM, ECAD/SVN, and Zuken systems to support engineering and R&D operations.
• Manage the procurement, configuration, deployment, and lifecycle management of laptops, desktops, peripherals, and related IT hardware.
• Provide end‑user support for Microsoft 365 (O365), Dynamics 365 (D365), and other workplace productivity and collaboration services.
• Enforce IT security standards and global policies, including BitLocker encryption, Zscaler, USB access controls, and defence‑in‑depth security practices.
• Monitor and respond to security alerts based on priority and severity, coordinating with Global IT and security teams as required.
• Provide remote user support using tools such as TeamViewer and Quick Assist, ensuring timely resolution of incidents.
• Coordinate, negotiate, and manage relationships with IT vendors, including licensing, support contracts, and service delivery.
• Support IT budgeting activities, providing inputs for infrastructure upgrades, technology refresh cycles, and lifecycle planning.
• Maintain comprehensive IT documentation, including processes, procedures, SOPs, asset records, and system configurations.
• Support and maintain biometric attendance systems (face/fingerprint) and associated applications.
• Assist with IT setup for facilities, including conference rooms, AV equipment, workplace technology installations, and IT room enhancements.
• Manage all IT tasks related to employee onboarding and offboarding, ensuring secure access provisioning, device readiness, and smooth workplace transitions.
• Provide first‑line IT support for infrastructure, workplace technologies, and business applications.
• Ensure strict adherence to Global IT policies, guidelines, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of all internal systems, data, and operational processes at all times
