反応容器 (6.1429.040,6.1429.050) とエアチューブ (6.2418.100,6.2418.120, 6.2418.130)

support-and-service/stab-maintenance-after-determination/_1

support-and-service/stab-maintenance-after-determination/_2

測定中に反応容器カバーのプラスチックに、サンプル成分が吸着や吸収してしまいます。

測定後は以下の手順で洗浄を行ってください:

  1. Clean reaction vessel cover with hot water, dishwashing detergent, and a brush. Rinse with water.
  2. Clean reaction vessel cover with a solvent (acetone, 2-propanol, or an acetone/ethanol mixture (1:1)) and a brush. Rinse thoroughly with deionized water.
  3.  Heat the reaction vessel cover in a drying oven at 80 °C for at least 2 hours. This step is important for releasing and removing absorbed compounds.

Dishwasher-safe

You can also clean the reaction vessel cover in a laboratory dishwasher instead of carrying out steps 1 and 2. Carry out step 3 as described above.

Connection tubing (6.1816.010, 6.1839.000)

https://s7e5a.scene7.com/is/image/metrohm/Stab Connection tubing?ts=1644583627181&dpr=off

During the determination, the plastic of the connection tubing between the reaction vessel and measuring vessel (silicone tubing, Iso-Versinic tubing) is contaminated by both the adsorption and absorption of sample components.

We recommend that you take the following steps when cleaning after each determination:

  1. Clean connection tubing with hot water, dishwashing detergent, and a brush. Rinse with water.
  2. Clean connection tubing with a solvent (acetone, 2-propanol, or an acetone/ethanol mixture (1:1)) and a brush. Rinse thoroughly with deionized water.
  3. Heat the connection tubing in a drying oven at 80 °C for at least 2 hours. This step is important for releasing and removing absorbed compounds.

Dishwasher-safe

You can also clean the connection tubing in a laboratory dishwasher instead of carrying out steps 1 and 2. Carry out step 3 as described above.

Measuring vessel cover (6.0913.130)

support-and-service/stab-maintenance-after-determination/_4

Volatile sample components also get into the measuring cell during the determination. There they adsorb on both the plastic surface of the cover and the conductivity measuring cell.

We recommend that you take the following steps when cleaning after each determination:

  1. Remove protection ring. Clean the measuring vessel cover with hot water, dishwashing detergent, and a brush. Also thoroughly clean both steel electrodes. Rinse with water. Proceed with the protection ring in the same way.
  2. Clean measuring vessel cover with a solvent (acetone, 2-propanol, or an acetone/ethanol mixture (1:1)) and a brush. Rinse thoroughly with deionized water. Clamp the protection ring back in place.

Dishwasher-safe
You can also clean the measuring vessel cover and the protection ring in a laboratory dishwasher instead of carrying out steps 1 and 2

Measuring vessel (6.1428.107, 6.1428.030)

Volatile sample components also get into the measuring cell during the determination.

There they adsorb on the surface of the measuring vessel. We recommend that you take the following steps when cleaning after each determination:

Glass measuring vessel (6.1428.030)

  1. Clean measuring vessel with hot water, dishwashing detergent, and a brush. Rinse with water.
  2. Clean measuring vessel with a solvent (acetone, 2-propanol, or an acetone/ethanol mixture (1:1)) and a brush. Rinse thoroughly with deionized water.

Dishwasher-safe
You can also clean the measuring vessel in a laboratory dishwasher instead of carrying out steps 1 and 2.

Polystyrene measuring vessel (6.1428.107)

  1. Clean measuring vessel with hot water, dishwashing detergent, and a brush. Rinse with water.
  2. Clean measuring vessel with a solvent (ethanol or 2-propanol) and a brush. Rinse thoroughly with deionized water. Note! Polystyrene is not chemically resistant to acetone. Do not use acetone for cleaning.

Dishwasher-safe
You can also clean the measuring vessel in a laboratory dishwasher instead of carrying out steps 1 and 2.

Foam barrier (6.1451.010)

support-and-service/stab-maintenance-after-determination/_6

During the determination, the plastic of the foam barrier is contaminated by both the adsorption and absorption of sample components.

We recommend that you take the following steps when cleaning after each determination:

  1. Clean foam barrier with hot water, dishwashing detergent, and a brush. Rinse with water.
  2. Clean foam barrier with a solvent (acetone, 2-propanol, or an dacetone/ethanol mixture (1:1)) and a brush. Rinse thoroughly with deionized water.
  3. You can also clean the connection tubing in a laboratory dishwasher instead of carrying out steps 1 and 2. Carry out step 3 as described above..

Dishwasher-safe
You can also clean the connection tubing in a laboratory dishwasher instead of carrying out steps 1 and 2. Carry out step 3 as described above.

Oil separator (6.2753.200)

support-and-service/stab-maintenance-after-determination/_7

During the determination, the oil separator (body and base) is contaminated by both the adsorption and absorption of sample components.

We recommend that you take the following steps when cleaning after each determination:

  1. Clean body and base with hot water, dishwashing detergent, and a brush. Rinse with water.
  2. Clean foam barrier with a solvent (acetone, 2-propanol, or an dacetone/ethanol mixture (1:1)) and a brush. Rinse thoroughly with deionized water.
  3. Heat body and base in a drying oven at 80 °C for at least 2 hours. This step is important for releasing and removing absorbed compounds.
