In many countries, the aluminum concentration in water is limited to 0.2 mg/L. This application note shows how the analysis of aluminum in water can be done fully automatically by complexometric titration with EDTA.
Aluminum can reduce uptake of phosphorus in plants and also damage their roots. In humans, high concentrations of aluminum can cause nerve damage. Therefore, in many countries the aluminum concentration in water is limited to 0.2 mg/L. Analysis of aluminum in water can be done fully automatically by complexometric titration with EDTA as shown in this Application Note.
