We are glad to invite you to our next user meeting of the Metrohm Autolab potentiostats and electrochemistry setups.
In this interactive meeting we will show and demonstrate our new generation of potentiostat setups. Learn and explore what the possibilities can be.
The program will include the following:
- An introduction course of Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) measurements. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) is a widely used multidisciplinary technique for characterizing the behavior of complex electrochemical systems. What sets EIS apart is its ability to isolate and distinguish the influence of various physical and chemical phenomena at a given applied potential. EIS is employed in the study of a range of complex systems including batteries, catalysis, and corrosion processes.
If you are interested or like to know how to start with EIS, this introduction could be a good starting point.
- An introduction of the use of screen printed electrodes. Single to use electrodes that eliminate the electrode maintenance. Specially designed to work with microvolumes, this inexpensive miniaturized solution presents high reproducibility and can be used for different electrochemical tests.
- Discuss and give an introduction of your research.
We give the chance to present your work in a short ‘elevator pitch’. Present your work in a short pitch, discuss in further detail with other researchers and learn more about each other’s work.
If you are interested in joining, add a short abstract of your pitch in the registration.
