Dynamic Light Scattering & Zeta Potential
Characterisation of particle sizes in suspensions and emulsions.
Highlights
Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) is an established and precise measurement technique for the characterisation of particle sizes in suspensions and emulsions. Microtrac is a pioneer of particle analysis technology and has been developing optical systems based on Dynamic Light Scattering for over 30 years.

Systems
Nanotrac Flex
Microtrac MRB’s Nanotrac Flex is a highly flexible nanoparticle size analyzer based on Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) which provides information on particle size, concentration, and molecular weight.
- Measuring range: 0.3 nm - 10 µm
- External probe (in situ)
- At line / in line capability
Nanotrac Wave II / Q / ZETA
Microtrac MRB’s Nanotrac Wave II / Q / Zeta is a highly flexible Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) analyzer which provides information on particle size, zeta potential, concentration, and molecular weight.
- Measuring range: 0.3 nm - 10 µm
- Various sample cell options
- Zeta potential analysis capability
STABINO ZETA
The STABINO ZETA is a high‑performance zeta potential analyser using the oscillating flow potential (“Mix & Measure”) method for fast, reliable surface charge and stability measurements without dilution.
- Measuring range: 0.3 nm - 300 µm
- High concentration samples
- No dilution required
- Titration capability
NanoTrac FLEX can be combined with STABINO to operate as a DUO system, enabling Dynamic Light Scattering and Zeta Potential measurements within a single setup.
