Determination of disinfection byproducts in water is a standard application for ion chromatography. The combination of a Metrosep A Supp 7 - 250/4.0 and a Metrosep A Supp 16 Guard/4.0 lead to an improved separation. The Limit of Quantification for bromate is around 1 μg/L
