Peristaltic pumps are displacement pumps. They can be used for many different tasks. Any medium passing it does not contact the mechanical parts of the pump. Media containing solids can be transferred as well as aggressive chemicals.
The main part consists of a tubing and a rotor which compresses the flexible tubing. The circular movement of the rollers forces the liquid to flow forward and through the tubing.
