Your assignment
- With your knowledge of high-tech products, you write test specifications and test cases for system tests.
- You create and configure test setups, which includes definition and deployment of appropriate hardware and software test tools.
- You test the system on different levels, covering the whole system, or parts of the software or hardware (electronics and mechanics).
- You analyse test results and, together with your colleagues of different disciplines, you determine the solution direction.
- You are collaborating with product owners, system architects, UX designers, and software and hardware engineers in our multidisciplinary Scrum environment.
- You realize improvements to the test process, for instance with test automation, CI/CD.
Your profile
- You are a motivated test engineer (bachelor level or above) with good analytic and self-learning skills, eager to learn new, complex domains (electrochemistry, electronics, … ).
- You have proven experience (6+ years) with testing systems/products that have a combination of hardware, software, and mechanics.
- You like to work as a team player and, at the same time, are committed to your tasks.
- Using your creativity for developing challenging tests and test methods is key for you.
- You have knowledge about and experience with test techniques and approaches, like TMAP, TPI, ISEB and/or ISTQB.
- You have knowledge of scripting languages and enjoy automating routine scenarios.
- You are open for adopting new techniques and methods, and you like to share your ideas and improve yourself.
- Due to the international character of our company, good proficiency in the English language is required, both verbal and written.
- Experience with Agile Scrum is an advantage.
