Experience

Reporting To

• Lead Engineer – System Engineering 

Skills required

• Required skills to develop electronic circuits and assemblies for our analytical instruments.
• Candidate must have accompanied products in current organization in all project phases from the requirement to the release for serial production.
• Candidate must have electronics expertise from the simulation of circuit parts to comprehensive tests for releases.
• Candidate must be all-rounder and like to think outside the box.
• Candidate must be enthusiastic about interdisciplinary collaboration and exchange with colleagues from firmware, mechanics, system engineering, design transfer and production.

Responsibilities

• Follow defined development processes & maintain detailed technical documentation.
• Understand and analyse system requirements in detail and derive functional design specifications.
• Design circuits and check functionality using available simulation tools
• Design electronics/systems to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and safety standards.
• Identify and recommend system improvements to improve technical performance.
• Work collaboratively with global R&D (Switzerland) & with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in interactions with all levels of personnel with local and global teams.
• Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
• Contribute to preparation of departmental goals and creating implementation plans. Implement process improvement.
• Discover training needs and provide coaching to team members.
• Provide expert advice to other engineers on technical problems..
  

Secondary skills

• Working Experience of Zuken CR5000 / CR8000 Design Gateway and Design Force tool.
• Working experience of type testing (EMC-EMI compliance testing).
• Experience working in cross-functional agile scrum team.
• Knowledge of IBM Rational Team Concert (DOORS, ALM, RTC, TQM, etc.).
