Simultaneous determination of multiple quality parameters in palm oil products

Vis-near-infrared (NIR) spectroscopy was used to determine multiple important palm oil quality parameters, such as Free Fatty Acid content (FFA), Iodine Value (IV), moisture content, Deterioration Of Bleachability Index (DOBI), and carotene content. The study shows that these parameters can be determined simultaneously and accurately with Vis-NIR spectroscopy.
