KF Ti-Touch en geautomatiseerde monstervoorbereiding: gemakkelijk en gebruikersvriendelijk

Combinatie van de KF Ti-Touch titrator met de 885 Compact Oven Sample Changer leidt tot een uitzonderlijk ruimtebesparend en gemakkelijk te gebruiken systeem.

885 Compact Oven Sample Changer

The 885 Compact Oven Sample Changer is used for thermal sample preparation in Karl Fischer titration. In the oven the samples can be heated up to 250°C. The moisture contained in the sample evaporates and is transported by a dry carrier gas into the titration cell, where the analysis takes place.

Eenvoudige en zuivere oplossing voor lastige monsters

De ovenmethode voorziet in een oplossing voor de analyse van monsters die niet direct kunnen worden getitreerd, omdat ze:

  • niet gemakkelijk oplossen,
  • alleen bij hoge temperaturen het water afgeven, of
  • een reactie aangaan met het KF-reagens.

In deze methode wordt het monster verwarmd en wordt de waterdamp naar de titratiecel geleid met een droog draaggas. Hierdoor komt alleen het water in contact met het KF-reagens, zodat de elektrode en de titratiecel niet vervuild raken. Bijkomend effect is dat de analyseresultaten betrouwbaarder zijn omdat carry-over en memory-effecten kunnen worden uitgesloten.

In addition, by automating sample preparation, you can increase the accuracy of your determinations, as each sample is handled in exactly the same way.

Both the KF Ti-Touch titrator and the 885 Compact Oven Sample Changer are very compact. You will get full automation and considerable time savings at the expense of just a small bench space.

Keeping it simple with an integrated control panel

Complicated installations and parameter settings are not required for the 885 Compact Oven Sample Changer.

It can be easily connected to a KF Ti-Touch and set up very quickly – the only parameters you have to define are the oven temperature and the gas flow.

Save money and reduce waste with reusable vials

The screw-cap vials that are used with the 885 Compact Oven Sample Changer are reusable.

The only thing you have to replace are the septa. This means that you can reduce waste in your laboratory and save money you would otherwise spend on new vials.
