We are the North American division of world-renown Metrohm AG (Herisau, Switzerland), an industry leader in laboratory instruments and accessories for analytical testing/research. We are looking for a Sales Incentive Compensation Analyst to join our team in Riverview, Florida.

This position is a hybrid position and will be office-based up to 50% of the work week. Ideal candidates will be located within commuting distance.

The Sales Incentive Compensation Analyst develops, implements, and administers sales commissions and other sales incentive programs.  Works collaboratively across departments to manage commission systems, adhere to policies, administer commission payments, and produce required reports.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Update Xactly, payroll payment files and accrual files as hires, terminations, and plan changes occur
  • Analyze and assess the accuracy of sales reports 
  • Prepare routine and ad hoc commissions reports
  • Calculate and maintain rep performance dashboards
  • Input transaction data for all spiffs, sales bonuses, and additional payouts 
  • Monitor Xactly trouble-ticketing system, provide exceptional customer service through prompt research, case resolution and communication with the sales team 
  • Partner with Finance to develop and maintain variable compensation accruals 
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all submissions provided to payroll
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and guidelines
  • Support Quota Setting by working with senior management for each product group to finalize quotas for all sales personnel
  • Update and distribute compensation plan documents in Xactly 
  • Provide a thorough monthly financial analysis of variable pay, investigate, and explain variances for high/low result fluctuations
  • Provide new hire and ongoing/refresher Xactly training for sales team
  • Recognize and partner with IT to facilitate process improvement activities, workflows, and add automations to improve operational efficiency and accuracy
  • Prepare system for yearly turnover activities, including hierarchy, mid-year changes, employee data updates
  • Promptly handle other day to day system maintenance, including password resets, license maintenance

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related discipline
  • Five or more years of relevant work experience
  • Proficient in Xactly commissions software or similar software
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy are required
  • Strong organization, communication, time management, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Expert in MS Excel; intermediate to advanced skills with other MS office products
  • Demonstrated ability to drive effective internal/external relationships with Sales, Sales Operations, HR and Payroll, and Finance
  • Ability to work with CRM applications required
  • Certified Sales Compensation Professional™ (CSCP™) a strong plus
