NOW HIRING AN ENTRY LEVEL FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN

We’re looking for an entry level Field Service Technician to join our team in the Boston, MA area.

What You Can Expect: You bring the motivation, ‘do more’ attitude, customer focus, and hands on technical experience and we will teach you the rest. Field Service Technicians provide on-site preventative maintenance and basic service for Metrohm laboratory instruments. You will attend a 3-week training class at our headquarters in Tampa, FL.

Field Service Technicians get to travel to a diverse group of labs, meet different people and see various instrument applications at work. You will have the resources to support the client face to face, via phone, email and Microsoft Teams. Once established as a Field Service Technician, overnight travel is expected to be <10% but may vary based on demand.

This position will support Metrohm customers in the New England area with a heavy concentration around Boston. From time to time, travel outside of the assigned territory may be needed to assist in other parts of the region such as PA, NY, and NJ.

Field Service Technicians Requirements: Ability to troubleshoot, test and repair chemical instrumentation equipment. Familiarity with laboratory equipment and practices. The ability to juggle/prioritize a busy schedule over a large territory is essential; positive customer relations, as well as good collaboration with all internal partners will be essential to your success.

A degree or certification in Chemistry (or related STEM field) is preferred. Hands-on work experience in a laboratory setting and experience traveling for work is a plus.

Additional requirements include a valid driver’s license, stable credit history and successful drug screening.
