High-quality coatings require the maintenance of optimum processing conditions. It is only through an exact, reproducible determination of the process-relevant parameters, of nickel sulfate and hypophosphite concentration and of alkalinity, i.e. of the acid bonding capacity of the bath, that dosages of the exhausted bath components can be replenished and an optimum process management can be ensured.
