Carbon dioxide (CO2) gas is not only a waste product, it is also used as a starting material for various manufacturing processes. The chemical industry is working to become more carbon-neutral, and this involves CO2 capture and utilization. Water and carbon dioxide form carbonic acid which can acidify the gas. The water content in CO2 must be measured in order to determine whether it is suitable for application purposes. This Application Note describes the automated determination of the water content in CO2 using the modified 875 KF Gas Analyzer.
