Why should I use inline ultrafiltration?

Filter caps can only trap particulates down to 20 microns before these samples pass through a column packed with 4-5 micron particles. The rest of these particulates are trapped in the column itself – and over time this causes back-pressure issues and shortens column life.

Using syringe filters, while effective at capturing particles below 4 microns, is an expensive & time-consuming process.

Inline ultrafiltration technology filters the samples down to 0.2 micron particle size, can be fully integrated into Metrohm IC’s and is effective for 200-300 samples. This saves time, increases column life – and frees up budget for more necessary purchases in the lab.
