WEBINAR: Solutions for Challenges in Refinery Process and Source Water Monitoring
11/21/2017 2:00 PM - 11/21/2017 3:00 PM (World Wide Web, Global)

Water is used heavily in the refining and energy generation sectors for process support and cooling. This usage alone accounts for almost 60% of freshwater withdrawal and the forecasted demand increases 55% by 2050. Innovation and expertise are crucial to helping refineries overcome the analytical and resource utilization challenges associated with process water re-use optimization. Various corporations have stated goals to decrease net water intake. Several NAM sites have acquired rights to secondary water, and are planning for the next drought period particularly in the West and Gulf Coast.

Attend this webinar to hear Brian Arntsen, Global Domain Leader, and Richard Krichten, Boiler Group Manager at SUEZ Water Technologies and Solutions, discuss the newest technologies and predictive analytics refineries can use to enhance their water, wastewater and process productivity, and reduce their fresh water consumption. These tactics include additional internal unit recycles, final site effluent cleanup for reuse in boiler and cooling systems, and the acquisition of local municipal processed wastewater as intake.
