ProfIC Vario 10 – Anion is a Professional IC Vario system with Inline Neutralization of the sample. When strongly acidic or alkaline samples are involved, Inline Neutralization is recommended. With the help of this technique, such samples can be prepared fully automatically during sample delivery and then analyzed directly. A small volume of the sample is transferred fully automatically to the preconcentration column. On its way it passes through the sample preparation module, where the cation exchange takes place. This means that it is possible to neutralize both acid and alkaline samples. The purified and pH-neutral sample is then transferred to the IC system.
