Many different standards are put in place to support industrial manufacturers with their QC process. However, time to result and the costs associated with most of the standardized methods can be quite excessive. Near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) offers significant advantages over conventional approaches. Analysis is non-destructive, simple to use, and requires little or no sample preparation. In addition, time to result is short – multiple parameters such as moisture, viscosity and hydroxyl value can be determined and displayed in less than one minute. NIRS compares particularly favorably with wet chemistry methods, which are by their very nature more demanding and expensive to apply. Participants in this webinar will learn:
