| The 799 GPT Titrino is a compact
titrator with extensive capabilities. Its LCD screen facilitates
operation and displays the titration curve in real time
or easy-to-follow user guide. The second RS 232C interface
facilitates online communications. The memory card can
be used for personal method storage and
the rapid
transfer
of methods
over short or long distances. Two additional titrating
burets can be attached to the 799 GPT Titrino; this means
that you can work with three different titrants. |
| 60 typical application methods from various industries
are supplied as standard on a read-only memory card. Typical
application areas for method development and routine analysis
are:
- Water, waste water and environmental protection
- Chemistry, pharmaceuticals, petrochemistry
- Foodstuffs, beverages
- Fertilizers, basic materials, explosives

- Washing agents, detergents, cosmetics

Complex analyses single-handedly
In many cases, the pH value of a sample has to be adjusted
before the actual determination, or an auxiliary solution
needs to be added at a predetermined time. The 799 GPT
Titrino can control two additional dosing elements for
titrations (685 Dosimat or 700 Dosino) as well as two
auxiliary Dosimats. Thus, the reagent does not have to
be changed manually after each addition. Several titrations
can be controlled and linked with one another. All thanks
to TIP! Ten variables are available to allow the results
of the individual determinations to be used in the next
method or summarized in a final report.
And what's more, the two additional dosing elements for titrations can
also be set up as permanent workstations for frequently recurring applications,
e.g. Karl Fischer titrations. |

TIP stands for Titration Procedure and
is one of the outstanding features of the 799 GPT Titrino.
With TIP you can freely compile procedures consisting
of up to 30 steps; the individual steps may comprise
the following components:
- methods,
- pauses,
- automatic stirrer control,
- conditions of two different lines of the "Remote" socket
for the activation of valves, pumps, heating and other
auxiliary units,
- any messages or prompts with up to 16 characters,
- preparation of dosing elements, e.g. rinsing of the
tubing.
TIP represents a potent tool that offers numerous possibilities
for the design of automated titration procedures.
