For use with Metrodata
VESUV® 3.0 an IR interface
is required. This can either be an internal IR interface
of a notebook or an external IR adapter (RS232 or USB).
There are various manufacturers of IR – RS 232
or IR – USB Adapters. Please follow the installation
instructions provided by the manufacturer. Tested
models are:
- Actisys IrDA – USB Adapter (Act-IR 2000 UL)
- IRXpress IrDA – USB Adapter
After successful installation it is necessary to update
the drivers for VESUV 3.0 and
to configure a virtual infrared COM-port.
