To view and work with PDF files, you need the free Adobe
Acrobat Reader. Modern Web browers already include
it as a plug-in. The latest version can be obtained from
the Adobe
Web Site.
When a link points to a PDF file, you have 2 options:
- To load the file into your browser
window
click the link with the left mouse-button (requires
the Acrobat plug-in as explained above).
- To download the file to your
harddisk without viewing it beforehand,
click the link with the right
mouse-button and choose "Save link
as..." (or similar).
