Combined modular system for anion and sugar analysis

The "MIC-9 Advanced" IC system combines the two most important electrochemical detection methods: conductivity measurement and amperometric determination. Conductometry with the 819 High-Performance Detector analyzes either cations with electronic suppression or anions with chemical suppression down to the lower ppb range. The pulsed amperometric detector of the 871 Bioscan determines readily oxidizable substances, primarily the carbohydrates. The detection sensitivities are equal to those of the conductivity detector. The Bioscan can be operated in three different modes: pulsed amperometric, amperometric or in the Scan mode. The latter mode is chiefly important in the development of applications and is used to determine the optimal oxidation potential.

With the "MIC-9 Advanced" you will receive a completely flexible system, with which you can work with two channels, either in parallel or independently. The only common system component is the 838 Advanced IC Filtration Sample Processor (2.838.0210) which, thanks to its ultrafiltration cell, is outstandingly suitable for sample preparation.
