Modular system with 871 Bioscan for sugar analysis
The "MIC-8 Advanced" modular IC system consists
of the 871
Bioscan, 818
IC Pump and 812
Valve Unit for sample injection. Data acquisition
and A/D converter are already included in the 871 Bioscan,
so that no additional data acquisition module is necessary.
The Bioscan extends the modular ion chromatography
system from Metrohm by including carbohydrate analysis
in the range of IC applications. The heart of the Bioscan
is the pulsed amperometric detector with built-in column
oven. Control and data acquisition are via the Metrodata
IC
Net software.
The Bioscan analyzes
- sugars
- alcohols
- sugar alcohols
- sugar acids
- electrochemical active substances
Two free RS 232C COM ports are required at the PC or
Notebook. The system can be automated with all Metrohm
sample changers (813, 838). If the 838
Advanced IC Injection Sample Processor (ordering number 2.838.0020) is used,
the 812
Valve Unit is not required.
