761 SD Compact IC - The perfect instrument
for the soft-drink industry
|
The 761 SD Compact IC is optimally adapted to the requirements
of the soft-drink industry. The instrument performs phosphoric acid determinations
in soft drinks and their precursors. The method used excels by its accuracy,
reliability and speed.
The 761 SD Compact requires only small amounts of environmentally
friendly chemicals. Time-consuming sample preparation chemistry is now a thing
of the
past.
The analysis today is 20 times faster than the corresponding
photometric method.
How it all fits together
The 761 SD Compact IC is optimized for the analysis of
phosphoric acid. This means a specific eluent and a column package that increase
accuracy and reproducibility
while minimizing sample preparation time. Since it is packaged with everything
needed for analysis, the 761 SD Compact IC is a true turnkey system. The
certified MPak eluent ensures quality and consistency. The MSM II Suppressor
gives linear
calibration through the range of interest while the Metrosep A Supp 1 HS
column provides phosphoric acid concentrations in a rapid run. The included
MCal standards
assure trouble-free calibration. Also included is the IC
Net 2.3 software
with IC Cap, which insures easy operation and convenient data export.
The new soft-drink
method for phosphoric acid virtually eliminates sample preparation for
the non-carbonated samples while the carbonated samples require only degassing
prior to injection.
Degassing can also be performed easily and inline using
the Metrohm 837 IC Sample Degasser.
