The new 838 Advanced Sample Processor permits fully automated
determinations of organic additives in electroplating
solutions in combination with the 797
VA Computrace.
Series of
brighteners
as well as suppressors (levelers, carriers) can be
analyzed unattended in a sequential procedure. The included sample
rack
can hold up
to 56 samples.
The sample solution is transferred from
the sample vessel on the rack of the 838 Advanced
Sample Processor into the
measuring vessel of the 797 VA
Computrace via the built-in peristaltic pump for the determination
of brighteners or by 800
Dosino for
the determination of suppressors
using the dilution titration technique. Further auxiliary
solutions required for the CVS analysis are automatically
added
with additional
800 Dosinos.
The two attached 823
Membrane Pump Units rinse and empty the vessel
after each analysis.
The
838 Advanced Sample Processor has a flexible method
editor to adapt the analysis sequence to the users
needs. The
separate keyboard
gives access to the method editor as well as to all
other instrument settings. During the analysis of a
sample series 838 Advanced Sample
Processor is remote controlled by the 797
VA Computrace. |
