787 KF Titrino
The reasonably priced KF all-round titrator for routine
analysis
|
|
Once installed, the 787 KF Titrino is immediately ready
for use as it contains the four most important titration
methods. The individual methods are arranged such that
the following determinations can be performed using the
standard parameter:
- Titer determination with water or water standard
- Titer determination with sodium tartrate
- Blank determination
- Karl Fischer titration - KFT
Approximately 90 % of all applications can be carried
out using these standard parameters. Of course the parameters
can be adapted to the sample and the KF reagent at any
time, e.g. when n auxiliary solvent is used to enhance
sample dissolution.

Direct water content determinations in
- Liquids
- Solids
- Gases
- Viscous materials
Water content determination by the Karl Fischer method
offers you
- rapid results (typically three minutes) through unique
drift stop control,
- accurate results as reaction is specific,
- «odourless» results as work is performed
in a closed system.
|
Routine operation
The 787 KF Titrino applies the Titrino concept to water
content determination. It combines extremely
simple routine operation with outstanding versatility.
Multitasking allows additional functions parallel to
titration. Entries via the separate keypad or via the built-in
RS 232C interface are possible even during titration. For routine analysis, the keypad can be detached and
the instrument operated using three keys on the front
panel. An easy-to-operate PC database for data backup and date
reprocessing is included: Metrodata VESUV Light. 787 KF Titrino keypad

Progress in KF methodology
The 787 KF Titrator combines extremely easy routine
operation with flexibility, thus allowing you to adapt
the instrument configuration to your special requirements:
- Apply bi-voltametric or bi-amperometric endpoint
indication with freely selectable polarizing current
or voltage.
- Choose between two stop criteria, namely the conventional "delay
time" or the novel "drift stop", which,
combined with the high resolution of the buret volume
(10 000 increments), yields fast yet highly precise
results.
- Define a start volume to further speed up the determinations.
- Take advantage of the "live keyboard" to
change parameters while titration is in progress.
- Work with or without solution conditioning between
determinations, with or without an automatic request
for sample size and sample identification.
- In the "conditioning" mode, get the current
drift value without delay at the push of a button.
- Have drift taken into account for result calculation.
