822 Titration Curve Simulator
Simple and rapid checking of titrators - with the practical
|
|
The 822 Titration Curve
Simulator is, after the 767
Calibrated Reference and the 773
pH/mV Simulator, the third GLP test instrument in
the Metrohm range. This new diagnosis tool allows the
rapid and convenient checking of Metrohm titrators.
The following titrators can be checked with the 822
Titration Curve Simulator:
- All Titrino models:
701, 702, 716, 718, 719, 720, 721, 736, 751, 758, 784,
785, 787, 794, 795, 798 and 799
- 726 and 796 Titroprocessors
- Titrandos
|
|
The Titration Curve Simulator
is simply connected to the Titrando, Titrino or Titroprocessor
and then generates titration curve data in an extremely
reproducible way. The user has the possibility of choosing
between various curve types that are present in digital
form in the simulator. The following four titrations
can be simulated:
- Acid-base titration with one endpoint
- Citric acid titration with three endpoints
- Conditioning for the Karl Fischer titration
- Karl Fischer titration
The titration curves that
are recorded and then evaluated accordingly by the titrator
are used for a rapid, "dry" check of the instrument
hardware and software. In addition, the 822 Titration
Curve Simulator can also be used within the context of
a system validation. Both the shape of the recorded titration
curves and the determined endpoints must fulfill the
requirements. These two criteria do not only provide
information on the functioning of the electrode inputs
and dosing outputs but also allow an assessment of the
titrator's evaluation software.
Note: The 822 is not designed
to calibrate your instruments. It is no substitute for
a professional maintenance. |
