Electrodes for Voltammetry and Polarography

Metrohm offers a range of electrodes for voltammetry. They are divided in two types:

  • The traditional mercury working electrode Multi-Mode Electrode (MME, product information) that is mainly used for voltammetric trace analysis,
  • The Rotating Disk Electrodes (RDE, product information) which are solid electrode with carbon or nobel metal tips. The RDE is used in both research and teaching for the investigation of electrode reaction kinetics and for voltammetric analyses.
