Practical Voltammetry with the VA Computrace

In a recent contribution to our series of Metrohm Monographs Dr. U. Schröder and Dr. H. Kahlert from Ernst Moritz Arndt University in Greifswald (Germany) offer

Practical Voltammetry with the VA Computrace

in 13 experiments for the use of VA Computrace in education and training.

Metrohm is the market leader in the field of polarographic and voltammetric analysis. The VA Computrace is a PC-controlled voltammetry system that uses the time-proven hardware of the Metrohm VA stands. «Exploratory» is the program part of the VA Computrace software specially designed for education and training.

All experiments can also be performed with 757 VA Computrace as well as with the 797 VA Computrace.

A practical book for practical use!

The monograph describes 13 easy-to-perform experiments for training in voltammetry. They are intended to provide an introduction to the basic principles of polarography and voltammetry at the mercury electrode and provide examples showing the use of these methods in analytical chemistry. The tasks are described in detail and literature references are given. After this, examples of the curves and solutions are shown. In this way, the necessary basic knowledge can be imparted in a concise manner. The experiments can be carried out either as a whole or in parts.

But the monograph will also prove useful to technicians in the analytical laboratory, who are sure to find helpful tips for the day-to-day work in it.

This monograph is meant to be used directly in the workplace. In short: it's a practical book for practical use!
